First Aid Courses
Level 3 Award Emergency First Aid At Work (RQF)
Where an organisations First Aid Risk assessment highlights the need for Emergency First aiders, then this qualification will provide you with suitable, trained personnel.

Our courses are fun and interesting, if you have a smart phone we will ask you to download and app that works with our CPR mannequins before attending.
This course will give the participants a qualification to the level of Emergency First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Food Safety courses
We can deliver Food Safety to Level 4 but more commonly to Level 2 for staff working in the food industry and Preparing food.
The Level 2 qualification is ideal for anyone working in the catering and hospitality industry (or those about to start work in the industry). Learners gaining this qualification will know that food safety is the responsibility of everyone involved in the storage, preparation, cooking service and handling of food.
The Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (RQF) is accredited and has been developed to protect customers, brand reputation and profits.
A Level 1 RQF award can be delivered for staff new to food handling which only take a half day to deliver.

First Aid For Mental Health
Level 1 Award - Awareness of 1st Aid for Mental Health.
A half day course aimed at providing candidates with the knowledge to identify suspected Mental Health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost the person towards professional help.

A one day course, also covers the content of L1 but expands on the effects of Drugs and Alcohol, incorporates the First Aid for Mental Health action plan and covers ways in which a positive mental health culture can be supported in the workplace

Level 3 Supervising First Aid fro Mental Health
A two day course, This course covers the content of Level 1 & 2 but goes into detail on a wide range of Mental Health Conditions covering the support and help provided by healthcare professionals. It is aimed at Trainer / assessors and people with management responsibility for staff in the workplace.

Having worked for 17 years in Healthcare Kevin has an affinity with Health and Safety in Health and Social care and we deliver a Level 2 course aimed at staff with some responsibility for H&S in healthcare.
